UA Travelers is set up different than Shade Tree is.

Here, you posted as a non-member replacing "Not Logged In" with your handle.

The system allowed you to do that only because no one is registered here as Buzzard yet.

HOWEVER!

You CAN post links here if you are not logged in, but you have to use vB Code (http://www.uatravelers.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode). It's easy to do.

Example: Union Travelers (http://www.uniontravelers.org)

Members of UA Travelers that log in get what you were using at Shade Tree. (Full bore Text Editor)
Not logged in, you get the plain jane version of the text editor.

As you can see, you can also copy and paste URL links without logging in.
