Has anybody heard anything about the pharmaceutical plant in Worcester Massachusetts?? Or for that matter, anything in New England or the Maritimes?

Hey John, are you still at Oak Creek? I am back in Maine for xmas. I ran into a fitter that supervises for KSI and/or DSI who told me that the Bristol Meyers job will be in full gear in about 6 mo., but that there is a "fast track" project on the Devins redevelopement site that should break sooner. We were talking about two weeks ago at Jimmy Pritchards funeral.

Hi Brian,
Never did make it out to oak creek, I said to hell with it and left my lobster traps in and have decided to fish all winter. I've got another 150 shrimp traps that I'm going to set in January. Hopefully that will get me by for a while.
I didn't know that Jim Pritchard had passed away, what happened??
I think he worked the same shutdown in Plymouth that I did last spring. Talked to Sanio a week ago and he didn't mention it. Watched the Patriots first super bowl win with him, Sammy Samson , Greg Samson and Ray Gallucci.
Its good that you got home for the holidays, and i hope you have a great christmas
Best Regards Jon Hodgdon (alias; Starboard Jon)

Hello fellow Brothers & Happy New Year; I am out of 693 VT, worked with a bunch of you guys at Mystic, Weymouth and a few jobs here in VT, great bunch of guys. I worked with one young welder, he was 20 years old at the time in Weymouth, he was out of (?) Mattawasca by the name of Ashely, good kid. I have a lot of respect for you fisherman, especialy this time of year! I have been working in North Western Mass. since July but it's plumbers work, I keep hearing that Pittsfield Pipers out of LU 104 Springfield are in need of help. I don't know the hours but I believe it's plumbing work, maybe some pipe work too because they are doing work at the college in Williamstown, MA. Good luck in the New Year. Fraternally; Joel

I'm not exactly sure if its a pharmaceutical plant but, I was talking to a buddy fitter I worked with in Vegas and he was hiring out on last Monday. I think he said it was a solar panel plant. I'm not sure. I do know its located in Ayer, Ma. The former site of Ft. Devens military post. I was stationed there back in the late 60's and early 70's. Good luck. He is supposed to call tonight and give me the skinny. I'll post when he does. BT out.. :-)

Update: UPSI may be hiring one orbital welder who will have to pass a hand weld test first. TFS, Ardine, NEHP, Keller ( instruments) all piping subs are hiring at will the calls are BA to BA, $36.04 in the pocket the benny's are good no vacation. Orbital guy's no per diem unless your a special guy!:SayWhat?: LU 4 Worchester, Mass handles the job which is BMS ( Bristol Myers Squib ) Fort Devens, Mass. The OT is up and down for TFS who has most the high purity work for the moment lot's of rumors as usual with a job this size. UPSI may make it to Feb. for some of the guy's. The rest of the subs at this time who knows? They are hiring more than just New England brothers but it's picky. It is a huge job with a lot of work that needs to be done that is a fact. That's it for now.
