Well, I’ll throw in a tad of info and photos to start this section off.
For my wife and I to be able to camp in remote back county areas, areas that would be impossible to get anything but a 4x4 into (forget travel trailers) we use a well designed, small tent (West Wind by Cabalas). A homemade “mountain” tent and a very small wood heater. Using this, we had camped from April 30 to July 28 of this year in remote mountain areas ranging in elevations from 6,500 to 8,400 feet. Photos should show what little you need to be comfortable for most…most of the time.
